RANA Agro-Industry Corporation is a plant biotechnology company based in Iran, which is involved in the mass propagation of elite date palm and walnut varieties using tissue culture technology. With over twenty years of experience in the micropropagation of date palms, RANA has so far mass produced well over 1.7 million trees, which have been distributed in Iran and as export to neighbouring countries and beyond. RANA has fifteen date palm varieties in its line of production including Medjool, Barhi and Khalas and four walnut varieties including Chandler, Serr, Vina and Howard at its laboratory in Safadasht, Iran.
